Peter Thorn has a Randall rt2/50 in his rack and it looks like some kind of one space Egnater unit. What is it ? 2 Ch ? Look around 6:27

This video I think really captures the quirkiness of this crazy bunch of tone seekers that we are.
He's doing a video walk through of his G-System, in addition to which he has an AxeFX, and despite
those two units he's got an MXR Phase 90 and the EVH Flange pedal. There's nothing in either of
those units that could sufficiently replicate the sound of a Phase 90? Logically there probably is. But,
mojo wise, of course there isn't. At least not for Pete Thorn.
Call us crazy, call us irrational, call us whatever, but don't ask us to change right?
Note: This is meant to be a celebration of the afore mentioned quirkiness, not a dig on Pete Thorn
or anyone else. Heck - without the quirkiness I'm not sure I'd be all that interested in guitars.

He has a G sys and a Axe fx. That should cover everything from amps, effects, sims and I wonder how the effects compare side by side and just how different effects only are. If one has an effect that the other can't really do as well or is it just to cover anything possible.
