Peter and Folks,
I got my new VH4 couple days ago, 15 mins ago I turned my VH4 on I went to the kitchen to get something to drink and let the power tubes warm up little bit by the time I came back the amp WAS off :( I tried to turn it ON it did not work !!!!! What's the prob??
I'm getting tight!!
Peter please help!
Thanks.

The power fuse will have blown for whatever reason. Don't panic. Open the tray below the power input & see if the fuse is burnt out (if it's a glass fuse)

I've had two VH4's and both have blown power fuses within a few hours playing. Definitely worrying at the time. I've replaced the fuse on both occasions & not had problems since.

Make sure you buy the correct slow blow fuse & buy a set of tube fault fuses as well. It's always good to have spare fuses & tubes.

I got it :) it was the power fuse!!! Thank god Peter put an extra one in the power amp :)
Peter, you the MAN!!!!! :)

Peter, you the MAN!!!!! :)

Be sure to order some for backup......

The local radio shack dont stock them.

I am not an electrician but I can tell you this. Voltage surges and drops can play hell on a tube amp. I have done a ton of shows in clubs where the main power source was two outlets on the entire stage with both having a power strip. Anyway, I flipped the coin for a voltage regulator and have had ZERO problems with fuses, power dips, anything. You might want to consider one. Just my .02.

I just woke up and sent an email "replace the main fuse"

It worked!! I almost had a heart attack lol
Thanks peter!

I remember when that happen to me! Called James Leader straight away in panic lol

This is why I love this subforum - a group of smart Diezel fans who can provide great advice during a time of panic. As if that's not enough, the man himself - Papa Diezel - comes in and brings the big guns when needed!

Which Diezel amp you still have?

Still have Herbert (my #1 for years now-truly awesome) and Hagen (I have serial #010) :D

AND, wouldn't hesitate to grab a VH4, if I had the cash...you just can't go wrong with Diezel

Awesome man! I'm thinking getting the Herbert or the Xtc 20th anniversary.
