I love Motorhead. People always consider them a metal band, but in reality they were just a good ol' rock n' roll band with a bit of speed and growl added
Looking for some new inspiration, I was just watching some live footage from a few years back on AxisTV. Phil Campbell has always been hugely underrated to me. He has such a unique tone as well. To me is sounds like a really cranked out, overdriven plexi with a bit of phaser added to it. Any thoughts? I don't really care for chasing other peoples tone, but I have some new material I'm working on that is far less metal that I usually play.
