I actually got to play one in the mid 2000’s and even then the store wanted 23-25K. The neck, everything about it was amazing. The fretboard was some of the nicest feeling rosewood I’ve ever felt. It was a “now I get this vintage thing” experience.

Great player, but geez he plays his amps loud. I always wonder how much hearing loss and tinnitus he must have now.

We saw him at a small club in S.F., maybe 7 years ago. His Strat into a Super Reverb tone was fantastic. Loud, yes. But so good!!!
