Yeah I was thinking the same, I've got some 824s too they're really nice IMO. I like looking at pics of other gear whores with even more stuff than I have because then I can pretend I don't have a problem

Yeah, I know what you mean...and I still want to get an ES-335 and a Tele. I inherited one of the Strats and the Hamer. I've also got a full maple Perl drum set in the drum room next to this room along with half a dozen keyboards.

Yep, I really love those monitors. :D

I enjoyed them thoroughly when I had them but unfortunately had to sell them when I moved up here for grad school. Relatively accurate, but you gotta watch the bass on them :D

Yeah, I think I'm having an issue with the bass. What did you do to tame them?

Its been awhile since I have used them, but I remember I had to use the notch filter in the back of them frequently (I had them in the open so I could get to the back of them often) as well as alot of listening to albums that I knew like the back of my hand. I remember the first things I mixed on them came out a muddy mess in the low end though as I didn`t really get to know them well for almost a year. Even then it was still tough and I just had to constantly cross reference to double check on the low end side. From about 200Hz up they were great, but below that I always felt I was walking a little blind. Luckily it was nothing a little trial and error didn`t fix. Sorry I don`t have any great secrets. Although, I will say having them away from a wall helped a bit of the boominess in them. Good luck with them!
