Amp ho
Result:

Cameron is a 70s JMP Superlead with the Low Gain/High Gain Jose. It is in high gain mode here and not boosted. This amp actually has an addition gain/aggression switch that is not engaged for this video.

The Rev F Rectifier is loaded with EL34s and is on the red channel modern. It is being boosted by a BB Preamp

OP:

I need something to do today while we’re snowed in. Pick two amps and I’ll make a quick A/B?

Cam/Rev F

Could be cool. I will do whatever, but comparing the Cam to any of the others gets tricky - can I boost the F? Do I boost the Cam too? Cam needs a boost the least of any of these amps but it’s still going to come across looser than any of the boosted amps.

I'll come over with my big ass snow blower so you can GET TO WORK Mister :poke:

Took care of the front yesterday. Driveway and walkways are good to go and my back is sore as fuck. Handling the back deck today

Since you’re looking for stuff to do lol…

Start with just amps

Then boost rev to make it tight

Then tinker with cam to make it better

Then different cabs/IRs

I mean with your skill/talent, the list of things to try is endless

Edit: oh and for whatever comparos you end up doing, end with the merged/dual track tone

I know this about myself- if the task starts to feel too daunting, I’ll end up doing nothing. Trying to keep this simple

Also, I really did not think this through in terms of the poll. Should have made each option a pair of amps, but then that would be a lot of potential answers. I guess I will choose whichever two amps have the most votes. Right now that is the Recto and Uber

Just do what feels fun with the top two dude

I was just throwing ideas out at you lol

Cameron straight in to boosted F. All 10 Camerons I had, none liked any boosts I've tried...SD1, OD1X, OD1, Ultimate Drive(Joyo), GE 8, GE10, Danelectro fish n chips eq....
Cool amp too. I've never had a HG/LG Jose. Just that Aldrich/Jose/Plex that you got from me, 2 Jose MiGs and the rest Aldrich save for 1 Modern modded 2203X.
