Pickup wiring issue...

Somehow I ripped out these wires and it's been so long since I've done any guitar wiring I can't remember how they go :aww:

Neck pickup is a dimarzio air norton, it's still intact so it's fine. The pickup in question is an Afwayu in the bridge spot. I can't even remember what kind of switch this is, I thought it was a mega switch was the ones on their site look different now. Maybe it was a switchcraft but I can't find one of those with 7 lugs either.

The way I had it (from the up position down) was neck, single neck, both pickups, single bridge, and bridge.

Can somebody help me out here? I feel like an asshole asking this noob question but I'm either going to play some guitar tonight or I'm going to spend all night trying to figure this out and I want to play some guitar

The 7 way was replaced by the 5 way. In order to do what you want you'll either have to afd additional toggle(s) and/or use push/pull pots.

Since you didn't elaborate as to your volume/tone knob configuration, it's hard to say specifically what you need to do. I would start here http://www.dimarzio.com/support/wiring-diagrams#1-4-3

Also I would shield that cavity while you're in there. :)

Well, only problem is I already had it wired up like that, the coils on this guitar have been split for like 6-7 years

I just accidentally left the back off and somehow the wires pulled out, so I know it can do what I need. I read all those diagrams you posted too but it doesn't help since the switch is different.

It's all good though I'm going to just go grab another switch when I get time to hit GC. I don't even really care if they're split anymore so I'll probably just grab a 3 way.

Thanks for the input.

See how the black wire from the pickup still connected connects to one end of the switch? My guess is that the black wire from the disconnected pickup connects to the other end. If that's correct it's a 50:50 shot you get the other two correct (that is IF they all connect to the switch, often the green will connect straight to ground). Hope that helps.

Well, I took it out and just put a fender 5 way there and split the coils.

Turns out it was a 5 way Schaller megaswitch and I found the diagram online after I knew what it was   Their instructions are terrible anyway so regardless it would've stifled me.

Yep. Have to use jumpers with those mega switches.
