Played a Bogner Alchemist

They had a new Alchemist on sale at GC for $579. Played it while demoing a guitar. Never even heard of it. Sounded really nice. Really nice. $580 seemed like a great price for the head.

We have one in the shop and I use it all the time to demo guitars for customers or after swapping pick-ups. They dont sound to bad at all. Its not the traditional Bogner but it works in a pinch and sounds alot better than either spider valve.

I remember playing one of them....and playing the Bogner Spyder...
I chose the Spyder...but sold it shortly after. I am sure the Alchemist is a better head.
I was just 'lured in" by all the effects the Spyder had...
