Picked up the tourmaster head and 4X12 cab at GC and I have to say I am very pleased and suprised.
I have the mod50 and was tone snobbing the tourmaster a bit before turning it on
and I purchased it because I believe in Bruce's chops. It totaly stands its ground next to the mod50.
I would say its probabaly a great pick for top40 players needing to go from very clean funk to heavy stuff and everything in between. We made a Les Paul sound scary close to a clean funky strat to the point you wouldnt need to change guitars during a diverse set. Because of the 4 channels, all with readily available seperate eq, volumes etc, its super fast and easy to get a basic set of tones to cover the different styles. A little tougher with 2 modules on the Mod 50 and where they share the same EQ.
My buddy who plays at the BB king club in Orlando, as well as our church, is jonesin for one. He said he found the amp of his dreams.
