Here is what I want to do. I can't find a product that specifically says it will work this way. Anyone know of something?

Out of of my M4, I am going to a Suhr MiniMix, so that I can have a parallel fx loop from the M4. The Suhr MM connects into my TC G-Major, output of the Suhr MM goes to my VHT 2/50/2, one signal feeding both sides. I would like to take both outputs of the VHT and run into a switcher then out to my guitar cab (which is mono). I want to do this because I am looking into replacing the EL34s in one side of the VHT with THD Yellow Jacket EL84s. With the swtching setup this way, I can easily switch back and forth between the EL34 side and the EL84 side.

The Radial ABY box says it can be used in reverse to select between two guitars going to one amp, but I am not sure if it will take a speaker level signal.

Anyone know of something that would work here?
Thanks

Can it be used in reverse? i.e. two amp outputs to one cab versus one amp output to two cabs?

i highly doubt it. sorry i got mixed up ;).

i know there is a 2-amps --> 1 cab device out there. I just can't remember who makes it. I thought Axess Electronics did, but I couldn't find it on their site. I'll keep looking!

Thanks. I saw that, but I couldn't figure out if I could run it without a guitar input - i.e. I don't need to plug my guitar into the Headbone because I only have one preamp (M4). If I can just run the outputs of my VHT into the amp inputs of the Headbone without having to plug my guitar into the front end, that seems like it would work.

It has a bufferend and direct input. What i would most likely do is take the out of your efx processor into the direct input of the headbone. and then the line outs of the headbone into the VHT, and the speakers outs of the VHT into the headbone, and the speaker out of the headbone into your cabinet.

headbone...that's a funny word....(ponders so many beavis comments!)

Randall RT250 amp does this without any extra gear.

The channel switching on the RT250 is a cool feature, but doesn't look like it does exactly what I want to. It looks like it lets you switch between the two sides of the amp, but going to two different speaker cabs. I would like to switch between the two sides of the amp, but into only one cab. With two cabs though, that feature on the RT250 is very cool

Thanks.

The RT2/50 can do that too as far as I know...but I never tried it.

Yes, you can switch between the two sides of the amp, going into either only one cab or two cabs.
