HI
I've to sell my Fryette power amp because his weight and my back problem are too strong
i'm thinking to buy a MATRIX GT1000fx
if someone have tested it or have an advice it'll be cool
many thanks
:) :)

Have you seen the new Fryette
Lx2 it one rack space and like 16 pds or something

yes i've seen it
but an all tubes power amp in one unit space
i'm afraid by the heat and fiability

thank's :) :)

I think your safe, it's designed by Fryette. vent holes top bottom ,front. rear and sides .with cooling fans .from all I have read they did a lot of work on that

The LXII sounds good and Fryette's stuff is solid and well Engineered.

for sure it'll sound good no doubt about that
i've just one space free in my rack and the egnater M4 is very hot too
it'll be good to place the power amp in a second rack and i can't
and third i've read that the price in UK will be arroud 900£ = more than 1100 € in france
and it's too expensive
;) ;) ;)

i'm thinking 20W are not enough

i've just ordered an MATRIX GT1000FX
Some friends have one with tube preamp and that's work fine
and the most important for me only 3.7Kgs

i'll let you know my first impression
many thanks for all

like promise
i've received my MATRIX GT1000FX
and it's a dream power amp
i've just to tweak the EQ of my modules (mids pot and bright switches) and my sound have the same quality than before
i surely have to changes my V30 16ohms to 8 ohms to have more power without going to hight setting of the MATRIX and clipping
but it's not sure i've to play live a second time to be sure maybe something in my output level was incorrectly setup

i didn't regret to have sold my VHT even it's the best tube power amp i've owned but the weight was too hard for my back
and the MATRIX option is very good
:) :)
