Hi,

A fellow Diezel owner alerted me to the nightmare he had when dealing with a venues mains power and it has got me thinking I need to invest in a power conditioner and anti-surge unit. So any recommendations?

Oh and it must be okay to work with UK mains.

Here is a link which indicates that Furman has opened a EU distribution center and is carrying it's products for European users. Check on the left side of the page under "Products- (220-240 volts").

I will be using a Furman power conditioner and a power regulator on my Diezel gear.

After extensive reading on the value of using both, I have determined that the power conditioner is first plugged into the wall outlet, and the power regulator is plugged into the power conditioner. The amp plugs are then plugged into the power regulator. The reason for this is that Furman has developed a new conditioner which is supposed to filter out every major cause of problems associated with electrical contamination. However, that particular unit has no regulation of power to the amp, which is why I will be getting a second unit for the power regulation. While this may be overkill, I will feel safer having the amps as fully protected as I am able too.
