Price check: 1993 Mark III blue stripe

I’ve been thinking about selling my precious Mark III but I’m not really familiar with the market for these things and I’m wondering what you guys think would be a reasonable asking price for it.

Any and all help is appreciated!

That has to be a Green Stripe. You can call MESA with the serial number to confirm. My Greenstripe was built in August of 1989

That’s definitely a blue stripe. 100/60W. Blue and greens were being produced simultaneously. Basically, all green were simuls. If you wanted anything other than simul-class you got a blue stripe, because the preamps are the same.

So 100/60W, 60W and Coliseum blue stripes were being produced well into the 90’s. I think @GJgo had a 60W blue stripe from like 95?

Correct on all* points. I had the 6th to last III made, a SRG, and it was from 1999.

*Between the Blues & the Green there was a preamp board change, CP1G to CP1H. I don't know the difference though.

The blues are the most common III. For a short head in good condition I'd say around $2200.
