For a 4 KT88 Ultralead? About right, I'd offer $2k. I've seen those cabs go for $400.

There is a FB 412 cab on my local CL for $475 for weeeeeeeeekkkssss.... and it still hasn't moved.
Seems the VHT's have taken a pretty hard hit in value the last few years. I remember when buying a UL head alone for under $2400 was a decent deal.

I just bought a mint UL, still in the box from 2009 with the VHT logo for $2500. The reason I got interested in that amp is because I picked up a used Deliverance 120 for $800 and it is probably the best single channel stripped down amp in terms of $/watt for me. The D120 kicks all sorts of ass, if you can get by with a single channel rig. All the years I have been messing with amps, I have never bought or checked out a Fryette product. One reason is that I have never been a fan of KT88 based amps. That just changed.

You're going to LOVE the UL! It's a constant battle between that and the Herbert's Ch. 2+ for my favourite modern metal tone.

I hate my FB cab. lol Its mint Fryette badged and only about a year old. I'd sell it for $400 on a local deal. I did just put v30s in it though and I like it alot more, but still like my UL better through my Mills cabs (with scumbacks). If I was gonna sell my UL (early 2012 model, mint Fryette badged) I'd want to clear $1,900. So I'd say $2,300 local pick-up and I'd be happy selling. Not that I'm planning to sell the head.
