I bought an SRV2500 on egay, (mislabeled, ended at $95) and it showed up completely destroyed. luckily, I got a refund.

The SDE-3000 is much superior in terms of options and control to the SDE-1000, however, I'm sure they sound similar. Everyone I knew wanted the 3K though...

Im pretty sure the Roland can save presets, whereas the Lexicon cant.. but i know a bunch of a guys who used these in the 80s aswell as the SDE-3000, or in some cases went back and forth betwen using the SDE-3000 and the PCM-41 in the same rig!
I think the PCM-41's are going a little bit cheaper than the SDE-3000's but i cant be sure!

Man the 41s are still coming in at over $1000 I believe due to the 80s mojo!!! I think Curt has one and he wont sell it!

Scott i think that must be the 42! The 42 has the saveable presets option and the digital LED screen too, amongst other things. The 41 was just a slightly scaled down version
One thing i know, is the PCM-41/42 and the SDE-3000 are one of the BEST and warmest sounding delays ever made. The modulation is truly out of this world!! its a shame they arent stereo though.. its pricy buying two of them to run in a stereo rig!

After hearing that clip Mentoneman put up with Zachmans rig I am determined to make a rack......a bit less expensive though
