I've been a huge fan of Primus since 90 or 91 ...... Ler is one of my favorite guitar players
The drum audition vids were cool .... the guy they ended up choosing is insane .... the montage he sent in with all the TV Theme songs is incredible ...

I’ve seen Claypool twenty or thirty times. Love all the music. More than once I’ve seen him be a complete arrogant dick on stage though. Still dig the music.

Hoffman is definitely a great fit. Was interesting to see the Thomas Lang episode. That dude is a monster and can play anything but was almost too technical and made the music feel different. Probably would have fit better if Ler was a more traditional guitar player and Primus wasn't such a loose band at its core.
