Hi All,
I have recently purchased a Diezel Herbert and a Front Loaded 4x12 Diezel Cab, and only last night I managed to really crank up the volume up .
Last night I found that I had to roll the deep and bass off quite a lot or I'd get a bassy "whooop" noise coming from the speakers as if the bass was heavily feeding back/resonating when I say chugged the low E. I'm still learning a lot about the technical sides of things so am I doing something wrong or could there be a problem with the cab?
The cab origionally had Celestion K100's, but Diezel-UK swapped them out for Vintage 30's before delivering the cab. I preferred the V30's which is why they kindly swapped them out for me.
What makes me think that I maybe doing something wrong or that there is a fault with the cab is that while waiting for the cab to arrive I was running the Herbert through a Marshall MG412 cab, which is a cheap £200 job, and it handled the bass much better.
Any thoughts or comments would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Stu.
