hello i am new member and i bοught a vh4. when i connect the volume pedal in the serial or in the parallel loop and volume (sound) dosent close, it just minimize. for example, when i have the master volume on 4 level if i close the volume pedal the volume goes to the level 2, or if i turn the master volume in 8 and i close the volume it goes to the level 4.
i have tried two different volume pedals ( from boss ) & ( ernieball ) in both of them, the volume dosent close.
the only way that the pedal works is when it is connected to the input from the vh4. but i don't want to connect it there.
i have try it also in other amps, like mesa boogie in the parallel loop, and the volume pedal work corectly.

Is there someone who can help me with this matter?

Curious as to why you want it in the effects loop. Anyway, there is wet and dry tone in the mix now when going thru the FX loop. You are essentially closing the volume on the wet mix of whatever is in the FX loop and retaining dry tone through thr front of the amp. It is acting as an FX mute. Not sure which Mesa you are using, but there is likely no mix control on it, as there is on the Diezel. If you put some other effect with the volume control in the loop, I bet when you close the volume pedal, the effect will drop out.
