Hello There,

I am goin`insane
I hope that my Torpedo reload is not broken
The problem describes as follows.
I'm with the guitar directly via HiZ in the reload. DI Out of my reload in the sound card (Motu 8pre). From there the connection via optical Adat goes in my
Motu 2408mk3. Use as a DAW "Reaper". The input signal is excellent
When I put on the trail of the Wall of Sound plugin sounds only slightly distorted signal. Actually terrible. No matter what template I select.
That can not be normal. When I use another guitar plugin such as Guitar Rig. it works. So it can only torpedo reload or WOS
have to do.
Now do not go on.

Best Regards

Silver

A supplement

I have now the Torpedo Reload with DI Out Direct connected via jack to the PC sound card (motu 2408mk3). The problem is the same. I just wanted to test,
it is because of my Adat Motu Motu to bridge.

Hi Silver,

are you actually using WoS III on a track where there is only a DI guitar signal?

because, well, WoS is a speakersim, so you would need to have an amplifier sound, and not a DI guitar sound, sent to WoS III.

Did I misunderstand something?

Hi guillaume_pille,

you nailed it!!

many thanks
Have also understood it now. as you have also described it, I'm on the amp via Loadbox starting in my sound card. Now this all sounds much better.
I was just a little confused, because even several amp simulators are included in WOS. I thought the RAW signal is treated the same as in Guitar Rig Plugin. But that is not the same.

Thanks again.

Best regards from Germany / Frankfurt

You will find POWER AMPS in WoS III, and you need to have a PREAMP before the plugin to make it sound like it should.

I know that it's slightly different to everyone else and it can be disturbing, but you're now on a good path. ;)
