I have one that I put my LP on but I covered the pads with pieces of cotton socks cause I know some pads aren't safe with nitrocellulose finish guitars. Are the fretrest pads safe for them, can I take the socks off the stand? The description of the stand says the pads are specially formulated to protect your guitars finish. So are they safe for nitrocellulose as well?
