Providence....The Leading Brand of Instrument Cables in Japan since 1996 (^_^)

Used by artist like Robben Ford, Carl Verheyen, Larry Carlton, Matt Schofield, Michael Landau, Tomo Fujita, Prashant Aswani, Tim Pierce, Pete Thorn and many more. In collaboration with industry leaders to engineer and design select cables for example and used by some top professional amp makers in the industry such as David Friedman.

"Keep The Sound, Feel It" with Providence Cables.

"Providence Cables have passed all test above and beyond all expectations and rated exceptionally well offering some real and true low capacitance, low noise floor, low mechanical noise floor and effective RFI and EMI suppression and further keeping your signal nice, quiet, pure and rich in tone thanks to the superb craftsmanship and high quality components, skill and technique it takes to make each Providence Cable.

These test were conducted not just by Providence in their own facility to insure each cable is ready for even the most demanding players but also tested separately by third independent party not affiliated with Providence so there is no bias in regards to the test and the results are pretty transparent and speak for themselves. Providence cables meet and exceed all expectations out of respect to the cable, players\musicians, their rigs and their music"

Nice test video! Really neat stuff. Is it going to make me shell out $32 for one of the 6" patch cables? No way dude, you gotta be crazy.

Right on the patches are not cheap but given the price of others in the test that scored lower the price isnt higher than some others tested that scored lower and cost as much.

Aside from that the guitar and bass cables are not a bad price as said relative to other cables that cost as much in the test or more and that also tested lower or just in general compared to other offerings.

The patches are pricey but the cables are not a bad deal or price and given the margins these are the best prices I can offer them at where as before they would cost say 150$-200$ for a guitar cable for US customers due to international dealers that would scalp. Doing it this way I am able to offer a more practical and attainable price for customers in the US.

Relative to some other guitar cables that tested lower they cost as much or less in that regard and offer a pretty good value at these prices.

Agreed that cables in general are ridiculously overpriced, as noted by the many brands that do so.

The instrument cables don't seem to be too out of the ballpark and look nice.

Yeah thanks man when you think about it some patch cables even the ones we are familiar with are pretty pricey in general but do agree overall these are a bit more expensive than most but still in line with competitors pricing and as said scored higher too.

For the guitar cables I mean I don't want to say it's the best but and I will never say that but for the money the plugs aren't just made by machine and involve some hand work as it's not automated to make them. The cables are put together by folks with years if not decades doing just that and that is making a solid cable.

And honestly I mean these are listed prices for patches am happy to offer a lower price especially when they are made to order which I can do if you follow the link just because the margins kind of don't make sense to sell them at really low prices for the stuff I have in stock.

If anyone is interested in the patches hit me up to see what your looking at and buying them made to order or from my stock here we can work out a better price. For the guitar cables the margins are already pretty tight too and the prices are great relative to other options and I also offer a discount when buying on the forum or send me a message on Reverb for a 10%.

As said definitely just here trying to provide a good product at the best price I can and offering what I believe to be some pretty solid cables for players rigs. And if anyone wants a better price on the patches when buying for a board hit me up and we can work out a price for your board and make it work. Aside from that the guitar cables are not bad and for the price definitely worth anyones consideration.

The cables do look very nice for sure. The pricing is reasonable. If they didn't have gold connectors, I may try one out. As is, the gold makes the sound exactly as described: Wide and Flat.

I dislike the 'Flat' nature that gold connectors introduce or should I say reduce the signal path to. I have an entire thread where I tried all sorts of connectors on various high and low grade cabling, etc.

Whether it is a patch cable, speaker cable, or instrument cable, I tend to prefer when gold is not used.

Again, very nice prodcuts and the pricing is reasonable.

Best of luck!

Yeah connectors or jacks do affect sound quality in the end and we also have V206 with chrome ends for patches.

Guitar Cables when made to order can be picked with either gold of chrome jacks with no significant up charge if any unlike some others who charge way more just for having a gold plug. At Providence said plugs aren't more valuable really than a chrome plug and they are simply just a different material to produce the end sound.

In this sense a lot of value is placed on a gold plated plug price wise where the value really is in the tone they offer as it's not really more expensive as a chrome one at least with us. In any case gold doesn't mean better it's just a material for specific desired qualities much like a chrome plug.

And it's something I never paid attention to put yeah some of our Gold Plugs used like in the H207 have a flatter response or more "neutral" to say they least but we have others with Gold Plugs that sound very beefy like the S101 so it depends on the overall cable and materials used too. I imagine an S101 we make with a chrome plug would sound a bit different even marginally as a result vs gold plugged one too and it's one of those little details we tend to take for granted or not pay attention to but it's a thing.

Thank you man and really happy to be offering these to members here at the best prices I can and yeah if anyone is interested in doing a board or are in the market for patches hit me up and we can work out better pricing too for some solid patches and the guitar cables are priced to sell and come with a discount as well.

To anyone else check me out on the Manufacturers Sub Section for full pricing and post or PM there if interested ^_^
