I got ebay to rule in my favor to return the POS and I'd saved his original mailing labels because the shipping amount seemed light to me. The PO clerk looked it up for me and if he was charged the balloon charge for the box's unusual dimensions and the new fee structure that went into effect Jan 17, the most he could've insured the guitar for on its way to me was $400. $400 for a guitar I paid $895 for. Nice. He already has a history of this and leaving the buyer holding the bag if the guitar is damaged in shipping.
Even if you thought about buying one just for the wood and upgrading the components, don't bother. That too is more trouble than it's worth. The Floyd knockoff is odd enough in dimensions that a real Floyd won't fit correctly and the locking nut can't be retrofitted either. The tiny junk pots can't be replaced with CTS or the like because the holes are drilled so close to the edges of the cavity that full sized pots won't fit. Same with the tuning keys. You'd have to drill out the post holes further for decent tuners to work.
All in all...my suggestion is to avoid like the plague
