...on eBay under the accounts "zoesandra" or "tbaer0610". He's just reselling Chinese or Korean junk at a 300% mark up. This thread details part of it...

I got ebay to rule in my favor to return the POS and I'd saved his original mailing labels because the shipping amount seemed light to me. The PO clerk looked it up for me and if he was charged the balloon charge for the box's unusual dimensions and the new fee structure that went into effect Jan 17, the most he could've insured the guitar for on its way to me was $400. $400 for a guitar I paid $895 for. Nice. He already has a history of this and leaving the buyer holding the bag if the guitar is damaged in shipping.

Even if you thought about buying one just for the wood and upgrading the components, don't bother. That too is more trouble than it's worth. The Floyd knockoff is odd enough in dimensions that a real Floyd won't fit correctly and the locking nut can't be retrofitted either. The tiny junk pots can't be replaced with CTS or the like because the holes are drilled so close to the edges of the cavity that full sized pots won't fit. Same with the tuning keys. You'd have to drill out the post holes further for decent tuners to work.

All in all...my suggestion is to avoid like the plague

Here's the conversation that transpired between us when I confronted him with the shipping issue. Notice he never once denies it, he just tries to insult me for figuring it out...(I'm in red)

"You are some piece of work, man. You know that? I sent the guitar back...insured for the SAME value you insured it for when you sent it to me. Yeah... I saved your shipping labels and had them look it up. I think we both know how much that was, don't we? And it wasn't even HALF what I paid for the guitar. So here's your tracking # XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX."

"What the f*cking you are one retarded ediot. Oh you got it all figured out your so smart. How do you get through life thinking the way you do."

"I get through life fine...because I'm quite intelligent. Intelligent enough that guys like you don't get over on me. It's pretty easy, really. You don't even cover your tracks. If you want, I can put you in contact with the nice folks at the Post Office who were really helpful in finding out just how full of **** you are... The fact that you're losing your **** now just proves it. Have a good one! Oh..."idiot" is spelled with an "I"....and questions usually end with a ?."

"Whatever Bro go teach English writing. anyways you cant be that intelligent you dont play guitar that well just average."

"Ok....hehehe...sure. Tell yourself that if it makes you feel better. I make a living at it, instead of ripping people off on eBay. You ARE amusing though, I'll give you that. In a sad kinda way...."

Didn't he commit mail fraud ? Get the Post Office involved...F him !

It's possible I guess, I don't really know that area of the law very well. It is my belief though that he wanted me to insure it for the selling price so he could claim the PO damaged it in shipping to him.

He sent you a counterfeit guitar through the mail, thereby committing mail fraud I would think...and under insured it to boot

Well, there's no concrete way to prove it's a counterfeit to the layman....ie, no logo's or other identifying marks. You'd have to be knowledgeable in guitars to know the difference.
