I've seen a few members comment recently on noise with their devices that goes away when they unplug whatever USB device they are using. This noise is usually caused by either the power supply of the computer or the monitor. If you're using a laptop, unplug the power cable and see if the noise goes away. You can also turn off the monitor to test. A long term solution would be to get either a longer high quality USB cable and keep said device away from the computer or get a USB hub to extend the distance. Hope this help some of y'all.

There's a couple solutions to this...
I use that dongle from Amazon, it's annoying but gets the job done. If anyone can find a long (10ft+) data only USB cable post a link!

I don’t know what’s up with the wiring in my old ass house, but I have one light in a room on the other side of the house on a dimmer switch that the higher I turn it up the more noise I get, and if it’s off I have no noise, it drove me nuts for years wondering why I had periodic noise till I figured it out
