Pulled the trigger on a Xiphos 7-string!

Can't WAIT! I'm an Ibanez fanboy as it is but neck thru, Mahogany, pretty paint job, etc... I couldn't hold out any longer!

Anybody else played one yet? I've heard bad things about the bridge on the 6ers but this one is a fixed bridge that looks pretty interesting!
 
Does that have the D-Activator ? If it does hows the sound ?
 
i was pretty interested in the 6, even took my guitar strap into a GC to try one. pulled it down off the wall and the friggin buttons were ripped off of it. :cry:


i gave up on them finally, would rather have a 42 nut and i wish the bottom of the v cut on the top of the body lined with the bridge pup like an Explorer.



but yea, cool guitar with good features. neck-thru and whatnot!
 
At least you got the non-trem version.....isn't that body style a Jackson warrior?

I've got D-Activators in my Universe right now and I like them A LOT! I can't wait to hear what they sound like in a Mahogany body :rock:
