Yea, it's actually Lynn's (TOStudent) old one. Odd to find a one-owner cameron around these parts! One of the reasons I was a bit skeptical and posted this orig thread. :-) Should be coming on Wednesday. My audio pc is down for the count (waiting on a power supply that should be here thursday), so maybe I'll get some clips up by weekend if all goes right!

Hmm...well, I got this guy today...and it sounds seriously ridiculous. Massive gain, but not getting into the toneless scooped mids territory (even with the mids ducked, this thing is crunchy).

However, I opened him up just to make myself feel better by seeing a cameron signature/goop, and there is none of the above. Unless I've got to take out the board and it'd be on the flip side there. There is red goop/glue around the modded bits, but nothing that would lead me to believe it was protecting a design. I have some pics, but don't want to post them out of courtesy. If any of you guys familiar with the circuit boards could help me out and identify, that'd be great...but I just don't want to float these to anyone!

So, if this isn't a Cameron, someone did good...really good. :rock: There's a date of 11-xx-85 scratched into the chassis, but I would've thought that's from an older mod (due to holes in the chassis that aren't used anymore).

I think you are fooling yourself and really hate this amp. Therefore, I suggest you sell to me right away. :lol: :LOL:
