Hi Peter, I am getting VH4S this week, and I am using 2 cabs. 2 Boogie 4x12's. I stink on ice when it comes to ohms, impedances etc. Can you walk me through what out puts on the VH4S to which boogie inputs.

Also I maybe getting a deal on a third 4x12 cab. Could you make some recommendations? Thanks in advance! After being through so many amps over years, the Diezel Vh4 was the one I kept the longest :D and only sold it to get the VH4s! *kisses Pete's but* Great products man!

Hey Sean !

Thanks for the flowers :D

Ok, here we go:

VH4S : one cab
4 ohm speaker out A into 4 ohm jack (upper)
4 ohm speaker out B into 4 ohm jack (lower)

VH4S: two cabs
8 ohm speaker out a into left cab 8 ohm
8 ohm speaker out b into right cab 8 ohm

Hope this helps

Thanks Peter!!! You are th man?

Got another question for ya. I will just copy what I posted on HC

Hi guys i am getting A DIezel VH4 stereo head and I have 2 Mesa 4x12 cabs. I sold my standard Vh4.

Now I am total novice when it comes to setting up effects, but I basically want to run my pedals all through the FX loops and just use my GC to set up patches. I use a bunch of boss pedals. My main concern is I want to get that stereo ping pong effect between the speakers spread apart when I have my chorus on. My boss choru has 2 outs, one mono and then a second out. Do I need to use both into the amp loops?

Can some one walk me through what they would reccomend as to which loops and what exactly to connect to what? The VH4S has the standard parallel and serial loops, but also has seperate channel inserts for each channel. Thanks so much in advance.

here is what pedals and effects I have now. The flanger and chorus are in the parallel loop, the BBE in the serial, and the delay in the channel insert of channel 4. Thanks again!

Bumpage? Anybody can you help? :) My VH4S is coming today! :D :D

I belive all you have to do is run the send A or (B if you want it to be midi switchable) to the input of your Boss pedal and run the outputs of the pedal to the return A and B for a stereo effect. You may want to do this in the parralell loop though and then adjust your mix on the front.
