I started a thread with this in it on the main forum but I wanted to get some input from the makers and sellers of Diezel. I'm getting ready to start gigging with my band and want to use my VH4 live. All I need is a pedal that will switch all 4 channels with one tap of the pedal, meaning no banking. Button 1 on the pedalboard would be channel 1 on the amp and button 2 would be channel 2 on the amp and so on.... I'd also like a switch that may boost the volume for leads, if the VH4 does that. Will this do it?

Will this switcher do the trick?

Sorry for my ignorance but I've always been an Angus Young kinda gut live so I have no experience with amps like this live.

hey James

yes, the Moose will do all that except the boost...because it only has one master volume unlike the Herbert. But there is a way to use the parallel loop as a 2nd master volume...check out the tech page..cuz i have never done it personally. i dont think its MIDI.. only 1/4" connections...best of luck!!

I am probably way out of my league here, but,,I run effect pedals thru the loop and usually use a RC Booster or a Timmy out front for the boost, both work awesome, tend to like the Timmy a little more seems to be a little more tweakable and more rawk! just my .02 from my VH4S in the living room, well technicaly kitchen!!

Jump a short lead from Send 2 to Parallel Loop Return. Engage the FX loop with the Midi controller and adjust boosted volume with the Mix Volume control to taste. I use to do it quite often. Any FX I needed to use on the VH4 were routed through the Channel Inserts.

This!

As everyone said, the parallel loop will give you a vol. boost, also you could put a rc booster or/other in loop for a boost( clean boosts obviously work better here than in front of the amp; they just drive the amp when in front..youre good to go!
