Question about running a Herbert w/ stereo power amp

I'm running my Herbert in stereo with a VHT 2/90/2 power amp, will it damage the Herbert to run the head with nothing plugged into the speaker jacks?? Also since I'm not using the power section of the Herbert is it safe to remove the power tubes and run the amp without them? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
 
Try patching one of the send jacks to a stereo unit, G-Force, G-major, etc... to the 2:90 and stereo cab and be sure the Herbert is connected to a mono cab. Have tried this in my studio and found some cool mixture tones.
 
Cool, Thanks! I'm going out of the serial send on the Herbert into a Lexicon PCM 70, then stereo outs to the 2:90 into two 4x12 cabs. I just plugged the dry signal to a 2x12 cab. as well, Your right it sounds killer. Thanks for the reply:)
