Question about the MOD 50 slave out

Howdy , just curious about the Slave out of the Mod 50 . If I decided to just run the slave out , and not hook up to a speaker cab , will it affect the tubes? I heard some amps the tube life will shorten drastically if the speaker amp is not hooked up , which is why some people go with a load like the THD hotplate . I was contemplating getting one , but was told I don't need one . The idea is to go for a stereo rig setup ; Amp into thdhotplate to gsystem , then into to power amp , to 2 cabs . If I went amp slave out ,/ then straight into g system /, to pwr amp/ 2 cabs .If this would work , that would be great , just curious about the tubes ...Thanks

You still need a load box or speaker on the MOD 50 even if you use the slave. If you don't you will greatly effect the "life" of your amp.
