Well I'm really pleased with my MOD50 so far and I'm currently using an old ART X11 for switching - but I would like to have a simple 4-way footswitch as well to grab at small gigs or jam sessions and so on. I have built a footswitch for my old Marshall JMP-1 with 4 momentary switches that switches between Presets 1-4. Will this work to switch the MOD50 as well or will I have to modify it (or build a new one)?
It basically works like this:
One of the red marked pins on the 6 pin DIN connector on the JMP-1 is the common signal that goes out to the 4 momentary switches (cant remember which one right now). Each of the switches signal goes back to the remaining 4 pins and switch between preset 1-4 when they are pressed.
By the way, does anyone use regular guitar pedals in the loops of the MOD50. I understand that they are designed for line level effects, but I have a couple of favorite pedals I would like to use in the loop - one is the Ibanez DPL10 wich is my "grab and go" choice when it comes to delay effects.
