I used to be really into all the latest innovations in guitar technology and stuff like that. I used to own a few Steinbergers, a Jackson neck-thru-body Soloist, and a Parker Fly Artist as well, so I've always been somewhat of an adventurous type as long as I thought that the novel features were useful. The MC/1 is a cool guitar that plays super fast, but I decided that the composite/graphite material wasn't for me after a while. The Modern would pretty much be everything I'd want in a fast-playing 24-fretter. It has the big, fat, woody organic tone just like the traditional vintage-style Strats and other similar guitars, but it plays like a modern guitar with the slimmer neck shape, flatter radius, jumbo stainless steel frets, etc. For me, it has the best of both worlds.
