ive been experiencing problems with my einstein 50 watt head serial # is 002-89. ive tried replacing tubes preamp as well as power and all the regular stuff. ive been told that ther was a bad run of filter caps for the diezel line and that there is a standing order to replace these bad caps as they come in. would this be something that is covered by warranty or will i be paying to replace them. im in los angeles. the symtoms are as follows:
seems to suddenly lose power and or drive at varios times. then suddenly returns
channel 1 mode 3 seems to have a hum sounds like a motor boat.
is this problem traceable via serial #
in other words do you know what run may have recieved the bad caps
