what inspired herbert...a quest for heaviness, or what...i love this amp

It was in 2001 when I heard some of the low tuned
nu metal guys. The bass amount needs more
power so I decided to use a 6 tube power amp and
played around with the frequency of the mid cut
feature.
The first 20 or 30 Herbert were tight as hell concerning
the power amp and there was a need for even more
bass response.

what so far has been your ideal recording of a herbert from an artist

I think there is no ideal recording for everyone.
I like all recordings with a big guitar in front and
of course it has to be a good song. That´s the
reason we love the music.

i totally agree......just so you know if i win the lottery my dream in life is to have you and Randall Smith build me a Diezel Boogie like when Dr z and trainwreck made brad paisley a Zwreck

I remember Mr. Smith was my hero in the 80s.
He has his own strong opinion how an amp
should sound, so it would be not easy to create
a common product .......... and maybe there is
no big need. We have a lot of good and different
amps on this planet and I´m happy some musicians
like my products.

This said I will go over to my workbench and start
working on a sunny Sunday

Just kidding, I love my job
