Question on the 2nd run for (Tone Merchants or Brad)

So when the 1st run is done and shipped, is the 2nd run going to start production right away?

the next batch of amps will probably 6 to 8 weeks out. you figure it will take about a month to get all the parts, headshells, chassis etc and then we have to schedule the build.

the good news on our end, is we wont have to spend 6 months redesigning the amp. All we have to do is order everything and hope the manufacturers deliver when they say they are going to. If all goes well, then its 6 to 8 weeks.

i use to bust bogners chops because they never had amps in stock. They built runs of amps and now i understand why

Chasis are due in for the first 25 amps on the 12th. The boards will be complete tomorrow to Tuesday. Barrang will need a few after the chassis come in to mount the transformers, wire the pots,etc. From what I can see their is no seperate board for the power supply. Final testing will then begin. I imagine they will complete one amp for testing first. Rob will have to drag Mark's ass down there to do it. If all goes well, which it will not, because Mark will request a few more tweaks(are you kidding me)
Barrang will make the changes(it will be component value changes which will not require ordering) Realistically we will see amps ship week of September 12th. What say you?
