Aah!What a mess !Awful guitar sound !! ...........Seriously now,digital recording is a weird thing.I've been able to get some very convincing tones with a BOSS GT5 direct-in and you can hear ,on-line,some awful samples from famous boutique tube-amps...

but then, i used to think a pod sounded good.


butch vig used the pod amp farm on tons of records.

sounded great in the mix.

felt like poo when i played em though, sounded pretty good. FWIW

thanks.. i'm going to hopefully re-track this tonite.. its part of a new tune i'm working on.. its funny when Nick was staying about quad tracking, i normally quad track all the main guitars, so i'll make sure to quad it and let you hear what it sounds like..

in retrospect, the gain is a little to much on the rhythm parts, so i'll dial that down so it doesn't turn to mud when i quad it.
