Quick Question - XTC Effects Loop

Quick question, has the effects loop button on the foot controller ever stopped working for any of you? The light shut off in the middle of playing and is not responding. Has this happened before to anyone? What can I do to fix? I always use my effects loop and this seems strange.

BTW, this is happening while in series. Parallel seems to be fine.

Check the diode in footswitch and eventually replace it. Common issue.
