Randall Bogner XTC module!!!!!!!!!!

I tried a friend's Randall Bogner XTC module in my MOD 50 and wow....what an insane modern high gain rhythm tone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So much growl and rumble! If only it had a better lead tone because the lack of a lead tone makes it a bit useless for me...unless I found a good boost pedal with EQ for leads. Anyone using the Randall XTC in the MOD 50?

Theres a guy on grailtone (okstrat)Pete that does a killer job modding those and the clips are insane.He just did an ultra that smokes

Do you guys recommend the Randall mods for the Egnater???? Are they as good quality? I can say the Randall mod I heard was great! I think it was modded because my friend has all his modded to sound as good as Egnaters as he says.

If they are modded,yes!Stock,no.At least I don't think so IMHO but they do sound good.

Randal has some great modules. I have a Pete modded XTC it smokes. I also like the Brown, Plexi and JTM modules. They have some cool stuff and I have no problem popping them in my MOD 50 and rocking out with them. The 1086 is nice, I'd love to try a Grail, Super V, Mr Scary and the KH2.

I agree and with the new E2 it could get real ugly on my MOD!

What is the Pete modded XTC like? Is it single channel or two like the Engater? That is a big thing for me..having channel A and B.

Single channel. All of Pete's mods are to the single channel Randall modules last I heard. Theres just not alot of interest in mods to the Eggie modules.

Yea, he's modding them up to somewhere in the Eggie component quality and then he has some cool twists on some EQ and mid shift things going on and, well a lot of cool stuff. If you want Egnater modules modified have Egnater do it. I am sure they could build you a dual channel XTC. I've seen one. Probably the most rare module I've seen, only one that I know of. I have considered requesting one myself. But there's the $ thing.
