Randall MTS heads and Eggie Dual Sound Modules???

Hey guys - I think I know the answer to this question (mainly b/c of Jeff's sticky about the RM100 mod), but just to make sure....the Randall MTS heads, e.g. RM50 to be exact, do not support both channels of the Eggie modules, do they?? I found a killer deal on a used RM50 with no modules, but I would want to put Eggie modules in it, and if I can't use both channels, then, it's kind of not worth it, I think...

you are correct can not be done to the RM 50, RM4, RM20, RM22. Just the RM 100 head and combo, KH100 and Lynch Box.

To clarify this further. The 100 watts RM amps CANNOT use dual Eggie modules out of the box either. But there is a mod available for them only.

I think that dual channel modules can be made to work with the RM50 and RM100 but only one channel will be accessible. I am sure that Jeff can clarify that though.

To summarize:

Egnater Dual Channel modules will work in ANY randall MTS amp, but only channel A will be accessible.

However, there is a mod available for the RM 100 head and combo, KH100 and Lynch Box, that will allow BOTH channels of the Egnater Modules to be accessible.

This mod is not available for the RM 50, RM4, RM20, RM22.

Last point your Dual channel module can be made to have channel B be the single channel in your stock Randall all models.!
