Hello.I have a Randall RD50H and I am willing to connect it to a Harley Benton g212 cabinet.Randall has 2 outputs and below them sais 8ohm single/4ohm parallel outputs.Cabinet has x2 16ohm speakers and the backplate has 2 inputs and a toggle switch 16ohm Stereo - 8ohm mono. What choices do I have here in terms of connectivity.I want to point out that I have a Vintage 30 8ohm lying around which I would like to use maybe with another one 8ohm in series (if possible).

The Randall would be 8 ohms mono into one input. Switch the cab to 8 ohms mono, and off you go.

The Randall looks to be set up to accept (2) 8 ohm cabs. That's where the 4 ohms comes into play.

I like how the speaker output jacks have little cocks and balls

So by switching the toggle to "8 ohm mono" in the cab I actually run x2 16ohms in parallel right?

Thats why I bought the amp in the first place 😃.
Kidding but there are balls in the gain section of the amp as Mike Fortin tweaked this batch.

I had the RD45H, which is essentially the same amp, (though I think the 50 would take EL34 or 6L6)??

At any rate, good tubes and biased right, they're ass kickers, and fun amps. Loved a boost. That one seemed to like an MXR GT-OD especially. Not gained out, over the top. I ditched an EVH 50 watt when I got my first one. I thought the Randall smoked it, (still do). Much more musical, and richer in harmonics. And, gets pretty aggressive boosted, in a very good way.

Does hard rock well and does 80's Priest, Maiden, etc., very well too.

What cab you are using with it.I think the 45 has 3 speaker outputs.I am a bit confused on what speaker impedance I can use with this amp and cabinet.

Actually what I am trying to understand is if this cabinet that has the 16ohm stereo - 8ohm mono option is parallel wired on the inside.Which should be cause its running 2x 16ohm speakers..am I right?
