Randall Warhead Cab

Construction is OUTSTANDING on the higher end Randall cabs like these, they sound killer too. I'd do it in a heartbeat, but I dont like Marshall cabs at all.....

I have one of the XL cabs (basically the same thing just different look), and I prefer it to any Mesa cab I've played.....

Yeah I'm just trying to find something similar to a Mesa OS. I'm just not sure if I like my 1960B or not. My cab is in much nicer condition but his is def worth more.

Also I found out that the dimensions are smaller than my 1960B.

33.5 H (with wheels), 31W, 13.75 D

Wouldn't it have less bass?

it's smaller? hmmm... my XL cab is larger than any other cab I've had, it's at least an inch taller than my VHT, maybe 2. Mine has a TON of lowend.

don't trade your cab for that piece...those things were garbage. The whole "stack" with both cabs and the head sold for about $1200/$1400 bucks. That is, if anyone would buy them. The Marshall is a better cab. If you don't like the way it sounds, pull the back, clean it out really good, wipe and dry it, caulk the seam inside and put it back together. There was a vid on youtube about doing this. That cab is only worth about $150/$250 tops. The XL's were really good cabs.

Dam alright. I'll hold onto my Marshall. I'll checkout the video and pretty much do what he says haha.

id trade a 1960 cab for it anyday. i have the 4x12 and 2x15 warhead cab's and i effin love them sound better then my vader cab which also sounds amazing

Wrong.

Those cabs were in the $1000 range by themselves, the Warhead was also in the $1000 range, I think they sold the package deal for something like $2500. They weren't cheap. I've NEVER seen the Warhead cabs sell for less than $500 (except on the rare craigslist deal)....either of them.

Hell even the carpet covered Jaguar loaded cabs sound better than a 1960 cab..... In my opinion, lots of other people will agree as well.

im mixed with randall cabs. i LOVE my old randalls with jaguars, and so did the other guitar player in my band at the time so instead of just getting one of them he thought it would be a better idea to drop 900$ on a new XL. that thing was among the worst cabs ive played and im really not sure how so many people praise those things like they do but hey its not the first and im sure not the last piece of gear i find unusable that people love.

we had the stack in the store and some XL cabs later at another store...That stack was just horrible. It ranks up there with the Diablow. That double 15 (by itself) was a muddy mess. The 412 wasn't too bad, just not good. The XL's are good cabs, I liked them and would have bought one if I needed it; it was tight and clean (the Celestion loaded ones, I haven't heard the Jags).
Anyway, the store ended up blowing out the stack for way below cost. It had so much dust on it...lulz.
I would definitely take that Marshall over the Warhead cab.

Are you guys in Firefox or Chrome? I have to post in Firefox, for some reason yesterday, Rigtalk doesn't work right on chrome. I can't log in because it saved the wrong username and password (it automatically loads one of my gmail accounts in the forms) and when I delete the name and try to enter my screen log in, the shift key will not work on the first letter; it will only let the first letter be lower case. Fucking hell. Any help?
