I mean, c'mon, the way he's asserted hisself on Idol is a bit much. He thinks he's the new Simon. I mean, like, Steven Tyler doesn't say anything and the chick is another Paula, so by default, Randy Jackson is the tough guy?

I saw Jackson playing with Journey supporting Raised on Radio, playing a Jackson and wearing spandex. Those Idol n00bs never believe me until I unload this on them............



Schon did throw a cock rock solo on during the show that made the other "metal" guys look pretty bad though, man he tore the joint down.
 
saw some biography show where he has toured with Billy Cobham, Jean Lluc Ponty, and did tons of session work..I am sure he is a monster musician
 
I know who he is as a bassist, but I didn't know he was on that tv show. If you don't watch it it will never bother you.

I was somewhat put off by his new assertive personality the other night, I must admit.

And I am one who does not enjoy the task of judging others.
 
It looks to me like the dude has had a lot of success, and worked with some pretty big names.

I think one should take his body of work into consideration before labelling him like this.
 
I think it is about time he steps up and calls it as it is.. those judges are far too nice and let a lot of shit singers through. I maybe catch 2-3 shows a season before it bores me. Tyler looks like an old woman but he seems to have his moments where he can be amusing. Lopez is a horrible singer so I'm not sure why she is everyone's "idol"..you'd think she was the beatles the way some people start crying for god's sakes. Randy should not be wearing spandex, his ass is huge in those 1986 clips and prob still is and that would explain all those long shirts he wears.

I still can't beleive that show has been around for 10 years!? yikes..

Logically, the black RJ should join Zebra, along with the existing white RJ of Zebra.

Then you would truly have something worthy of being called Zebra.
 
He's actually a big name producer who's worked with some of the biggest names in the business.
He's recorded huge albums. :yes:
