I am going to guess it is a low wattage amp, by the compression it is getting possible solid state. It had a mid range bark...is it a boosted Marshall solid state amp of some design?
It sounds decent no matter what it isit is not but thats a very astute and interesting observation!
i'll give a bit of time to let others chime in if they want but i love your interpretation!!

1968 Norma branded Teisco Tulip guitar with 13s through a 15 ft musicians gear cable into a Larry Dino 939 into a diezel 4x12 equipped with seventy 80s and fender labeled jensens in a X pattern.

How many hours has the amp been burnt in and is it a front or rear loaded deizel cab?

The gain structure does sound a little SS to me as well, I would guess one of the better old SS amps like a peavey bandit or fender fender ultimate chorus like my buddy used to have, that thing surpringly ripped

The second part is a trick question, it's a diezel cab. Sounds like there were notches cut into the baffle to load both front and rear.
