Re Tubing Einstein 50 Head.....Help!

I had to replaced the el34 power tubes as one went bang. I bought Svetlana winged c tubes and had a clever friend of mine fit and bias them.
Trying the amp last night it just doesn't sound as good :( .
The bias has been set at 60mA, a little low according to Diezels website. It should be 60 to 70mA.
However, my downloaded Einstein manual states 30 to 35mA for el34's! :confused:

Can someone point me in the right direction. I love this amp and just want that tone back!!!!

SED's need a little more juice than most el34's bias to 70ma(35ma per tube), 60 is very cold for those tubes.
 
Be aware that you are used to the tone of your old tubes and going to differnet ones that are new can be a little confusing at the beginning.
My SED 6L6 needed some burn in time to sound their best, so give them some. ;)

before i sold you that amp i had a set of winged c's in there and thought it sounded way better with them in .
i had it biased at 72mA btw....

As the game is set to be released on September wow power leveling18th many players will be pushing hard to level their characters as fast as possible as well as farming as much gold as they can on the process. eve isk is valued the highest during the start of the game when every player is striving to china travelget as much of it as possible into their own hands.

Some good pointers that will give you a bit more advantage over another player,wow power leveling pick up a profession and complete as many quests that is convenient and within your reach. Picking up a trade skill early on the game can give you a big advantage, especially a gathering profession. A gathering profession such as butchering

Yeah, I tried the winged c's but I just didn't like the tone.
A mate of mine said they were supposed to sound "metallic" and that was the best way to describe them.
I think I just panicked. Anyway, ordered some TAD's biased them and now she's almost there. Few more frantic gigs and they'll be nicely burned!!!!

Only discovered the glory of Channel 2 the other night due to our bass player bringing down an Alter Bridge song to cover. Why do they always find the tough ones to play?!!!

Great tones on that Alterbridge Blackbird CD!

35ma each tube makes for 70mA for the pair I think.
