:D Well, to be fair i rode my quad in this area every single weekend in 2000-2001. It's a huge area of nothing but fire roads and pine trees. It's about 11 miles wide and has endless trails. I want to get a duel sport bike so i can ride there again since i was busted 2 times there on my ATV. It also has about 4 different huge sand pit areas. The guys in this video don't show much at all of the area, but at least they play Motley Crue. Wow, I'm glad i have off tomorrow.

The way that kid was handling that shotgun  I would be at least 1 mile behind them :D

Danny, i hear ya on the dual sport! i need to break down and get one. i'm only a couple hours from the Rockies, and would be cool to be able to go up and over the mountains from one town to the other and get gas. i'm running a 2 stroke with VP race gas, so not practical to get very far from home, don't have worry about burning it up in the sand though.

here's my scooter, 380 ported, polished, and running VP C-12. White Brothers modded suspension and a steering dampner. also got a 12 paddle tire and a smooth street tire for the front for riding sand dunes. bikes are pretty cool in the sand, if the dunes are big. it's a real workout in the really tight smaller dunes.

Nice. You would be suprised at how much sand there is in Southern NJ. It's all loose sand and pine trees. The sand pits we rode are all illegal though because it's private land, people ride on the companies land, people get hurt, then they try and sue the land owner which ruins it for everyone.

The one main sand pit area we rode is where the Hindenburg blimp went down. It's around 10,000 acres and people rode there for years and years until it got too popular and a few people died either from ATV accidents, or like one guy, drowned when he fell off his jet skii on the lake there.

The thing about NJ is that there IS woods and trails and sand pits to ride in, but it's all private or State land and ATV's are not allowed on any of it. But a duel sport with a license plate is ok on it, except for the private companies who own sand quarreys. And the fines are INSANE. You can get thrown in jail and your quad impounded just for driving around and having fun, it's really bullshit and ATVers like me lost the fight. I was sick and tired of hiding from cops and paying fines. There are a few legal places but they are just small tracks, nothing special. There are some big ATV parks in PA, but that's 3 hours away and PA is just one big huge pile of rocks  Sand is much better to ride in.

That's an arial view of the riding spot we rode. My last quad i owned, the Cannondale Cannibal. And that last pic is me on a little Yamaha Blaster.

man, driving by this place and seeing it wasted as a damned hippie haven, drives me batshit. i'd like get out on this place in a very bad way. seems they could atleast make part of it for off road?
