Really Stoopid Impedance Question

Hi Folks... my first post... sorry its really stupid! Picked up a Rebel 30 not too long ago... REALLY liking it! Question is.... the speaker outputs.... are the two parallel?

AND....

If I run a 16 ohm cab and an 8 ohm in parrallel = 5.333 ohms. Safe to use 4 ohm setting?

Parallel = Yes
Your math = correct
Safe to use 4 ohm = Yes

Remember, the listing on a speaker out put should have the implied word "MINIMUM" after it. Since 5.333 > 4, you're good to go.

yep. i run my TM with the combo which is 8, and my 4/12 cab in 16 ohm mode.
