Anyone reviews on these?

I also had a question about the rear panel. It has two jacks, so I'm guessing one is an input and the other is a "through" jack, so that you can daisy chain guitar cabinets. When you daisy chain cabinets you are adding resisters in series, so you just add them normally for the total resistance. That being the case, why were 16 ohm speakers chosen, because if you put two of these in series that would give you 32 ohm resistance total? I guess if you had 4 of these cabs total, and ran two daisy chained on the left, and then two daisy chained on the right, then you would have a total impedance of 16 which amps have taps for.

With an 8 ohm speaker in there you could still daisy chain it and your total impedance would still only be 16 ohms for two of these cabinets.

Any thoughts?

Jacks are in Parallel............r1*r2/(r1+r2)= Total resistance

Jacks are just parallel.

Two 16 ohm cabs = 8 ohms.
Four16 ohm cabs = 4ohms

Ahhh, thank you, makes a lot more sense now! I was only familiar with through jacks on other speaker cabinets. Love the work you're doing Bruce!

I thought everybody's thru jacks were wired in parallel.

jack one sleeve is wired to jack 2 sleeve
jack one tip is wired to jack 2 tip

jack one sleeve also wired to speaker -
jack one tip also wired to speaker +
