so I was playing yesterday and blew a fuse.. so I replaced it and within 5 minutes blew another... so I read up and saw that it could be power tubes.... so I cranked the tube mix all the way to 6l6 side and fuse is fine.. played for about 5 minutes... then I did the same on the el84 side .. same thing ....fine.... then straight up... same thing fine... so now I have an amp that blew 3 fuses but now isn't blowing any fuses... well at least it didn't for the 15 minutes I tried to get it to blow the fuse.... if a power tube is bad.. is it going to blow right away? do I need to crank the amp up louder to get it to blow sooner?
also, is there instruction on how to bias this amp if I were to purchase new power tubes for it? thanks oh.. finally what tubes do you guys recommend for it... I could just give it a complete overhaul w/ the tubes.. thanks
