Idealy I'd like to get a little more bottom out of the combo. Over all the stock speaker is not to bad as stock speakers go. I'm just wondering what others have used and had sucess with.

I changed the stock speaker in my Renegade for a celestion g12-65 about a year ago.
I did it because the amp was new and i wanted a well broken in speaker for some gigs but i liked the sound so much that i just left it in..

I have a pair of WGS Vetern 30 and ET65 speakers, both are 16 ohms. They're both in an Avatar 2 x 12 cab that I don't use much right now. I have been thinking of which one to try in the Rebel. I'll give the ET65 the first shot.

I've never used the Egnater speaker.
I have an R30 Head running into a 2x12 closed cab with V30's.
Have also run it into a Mesa cab with Celestion C90 black shadows.
Great with either :D

The Elite 80 speaker in the Rebel is a very slightly tweaked Celestion Classic Lead 80. We chose it because of it's excellent performance in a small, open back combo box. I don't know of another speaker that will actually give you more low end in that cabinet. You could certainly put a simple graphic equalizer in the loop and dial in all the low end you want?
