Hello Gents, and perhaps Ladies. Just a few questions on the rebel 30, Would you say you get better cleans with the rebel vs the tweaker? Looking for more of a fender Clean with reverb. And was wondering why people perfer the rebel head over the combo or vise versa? And lastly was wondering why some of the combos have had some troubles with a hiss or a noise and i havent heard of the head to have it? Why would they be diffrent? Thanks for your time.

I had a hiss (noise floor) on the clean channel with my Rebel 30 head. Just the nature of the beast on that thing I guess. I MUCH prefer heads, where I can pair it with whatever cab I want rather then being tied to a combo, but thats just me. I don't like 1x12's anyway

Rebel. Head is more convenient than combo for access to front and back panels, less convenient if you just want to grab and go.

yeah but a head (specially a small head like the Rebel) and a 1x12 is pretty grab and go too :)

Had one other question. Why does the Tweaker 40 Combo come with a celestion 50 and the cab for the head comes with a celestion 30? Thanks.

I can't comment on the R30 versus Tweaker question you are asking because I haven't tried the Tweaker 40.

However, I did compare the R30 112 combo vrs R30 Head / 112 cab and much preferred the head/cab in this case which is what I purchased FWIW.

Also, the R30 head/112 cab is very easy to transport due to its small size.

I prefer R30 cleans to the Tweaker's but neither are Fender like.
Not on the R30 6V6 side either - they're warmer, fatter, less spank & twang than anything Fender make but then using an Eminence speaker cab might help.
I've only played my R30 head thru 2x12 cabs with Celestions.
No noise on the clean side of my R30 but there was some on channel 2 with gain cranked.
I say WAS - because I got rid of 70% of it with a tube swap from http://www.dougstubes.com.
A simple tube swap will rid you of most of the hiss and delivers improved overall amp tones
