For the 6 minutes I was able to abuse the Guitar Center volume policy it was well worth the trip. 
I buried the needle at 30w on the clean side with an American Tele and it was exquisite. It was definitely in the BMAN A realm though I could coax out some VX A glassiness with the bright engaged on the bridge. I wasn't able to spend enough time on the distorted channel as it was infinitely more important for the manager on duty to talk to his girlfriend on the company phone. That being said it is characteristically similar to the EG series mods. It was a bit darker than my EG5. I'd have to say it felt somewhere in between VX B and EG5 A. This amp is now on my short list for the home practice amp.
